If your profile or portfolio is suspended, should you receive a message giving you the reason for suspension so you can rectify it sooner instead of guessing?

HELLO!!!! when a profile or portfolio is suspended there IS a message to alert the person of the suspension, why and how to fix. you see it when you sign on IF you are paying attention.

you would THINK they would know that but...hey i guess i am smarter than the average bear eh Yogi. lol.

this year i decided to do online as i do in real life, when a thought presents itself to my conciousness it will see the light of day. expect more fun journal entries!

i have things to get off my chest (no not my shirt).

in the last few weeks i have witnessed people not actually reading profiles and journals but rather forming an uninformed opinion based on something they gleaned as they scanned for key words and then passing judgement. some of these people are friends and some i just notice as i read (yes actually read) other peoples journals and profiles.

i am not going to go point for point describing each instance, i just have a few things to say.

we are all on this site togethor.

a micro community really, surrounded by other micro communities which form the world wide web (do people still say that?). everyone has different opinions, beliefs, likes and dislikes. if i do not like what a person has to say in their journal, i simply stop reading it.

i don't check on it every day or every hour to see what they will say next. to the people who do things like that, you are the ones who made Howard Stern the wealthy man he is today. you are perpetuating negativity simply by your act of contributing your own venom to it.

another thing, i don't yell at little kids and make my own assumptions of their motives without talking to them.

i am an adult and a mother, in fact i am a mother of a 13 year old boy who HAS been bullied many times over the years by adults who he was supposed to be looking to for guidance and safety. teachers, principals and even guidance counselors. there is nothing i despise more than an adult in some position of authority ripping on a 13 or 14 year old kid. ok in all fairness maybe the people who do this think the kids have no business being here. get the fuck over it. VampireRave is Cancers house and He permits them being here. in addition my 13 year old was going through an emotional downturn when he joined this site, his grades were suffering and he was angry and uncommunicative. i set up his profile here because i knew he could talk to people who would understand and he could make friends the same way i did ONLINE. people did reach out to him, even with the angry journals. lostinpa, insanityhaspigtails, Pheonix; the G.O.D. took him in and his grades ARE up, he IS making friends at school. belonging to this site helped him and ME tremendously, because he wasn't talking to me anymore and now he does. if for no other reason than being on THIS site is good for kids like him, they need to be left alone. they need to be taught socialization instead of being locked in cyber locker by the hall monitors and the teachers of this site!

i have gotten a little lost in my head as i have written the part about my son so i have to stop. i still hope that people will think a little bit as they are reading this.
